Online lead generation automotive business seeks a driven, self motivated, mature individual for sales development role in online space.

CarbonBlack brings over 20 years in search engine advertising and direct marketing and over 60 years in the automotive industry on the technical and manufacturing side. Preparation for launch included 18 months of market research around the changing profiles of the highest value tyre buyers and resellers.
We are not aligned with any automotive manufacturer, dealer or wholesaler.
CarbonBlack is Australia’s leading independent online pre-shopping and sales lead website for new passenger and 4WD tyres. CarbonBlack provides sales leads via the telephone, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), online quoting, as well as email and search engine marketing. Established in Sydney in 2007, CarbonBlack operates in the ACT, NSW, VIC and QLD.
CarbonBlack is currently extending its services to include parts and handbook servicing with information on over 900,000 spare parts on over 7,800 vehicles. It sources and facilitates sales leads for auto dealers and service centres and will now provide the same services to automotive aftermarket parts suppliers. The company continues to build its consumer reach through relationships with major retail online destinations and leading edge marketing programs.
The Person
You are internet savvy and are hungry for success. You adopt our sales challenges as your own. This role needs an organised, ambitious and energetic person with strong planning and networking skills. The role is a mixture of both business development and account management ensuring all customers receive the highest level of customer service.
You must be able to develop concise, complete and compelling sales messages that translate to action and results.
You contribute to business growth through the development of profitable commercial relationships with new and existing customers, and appreciate the necessity for planning and reporting requirements.
The Role
We are expanding our team. This role of business development will take on the following responsibilities:
- Educate clients on the imperative for 'pay-only-for-leads' advertising and the imperative to be found online
- Identify, structure, negotiate and build new business relationships
- Maintain an excellent working relationships with our existing business partners
- Provide training for new and existing clients

Your Experience
In addition to the above skill set, the ideal candidate would have previous experience, including:
- Proven sales and business development experience and a strong results orientation
- Previous
industry experience in content, media, ecommerce and/or servicing the
small-medium enterprise (SME) or local business market, either online
or offline
- Automotive industry product experience a significant advantage
